Day 1Cusco - Aguas Calientes

On day 1 of the Machu Picchu + Huayna Picchu Tour, we start early in the morning at around 5:00 am from our hotel in Cusco. We board a bus that takes us on a 2-hour journey to the town of Ollantaytambo, where we catch the train to Aguas Calientes. The train ride takes approximately 1.5 hours, and along the way, we can enjoy stunning views of the Andean countryside.

Upon arriving in Aguas Calientes, we check into our hotel and have lunch. Afterward, we take a bus to the entrance of Machu Picchu, which takes around 30 minutes.
